WHAT IS THERE TO SEE AND DO AROUND OUR VILLA?

 

 

Disney World

Everyone's favourite. Walt Disney created The Magic Kingdom, which is the place everyone comes to see, but there is much, much more to Disney World.

Epcot, Walt's vision of the future with the World Showcase.

Animal Kingdom, Get up close and personal with the animals

Hollywood (MGM) Studio's Hollywood movies park with rides and shows.

Any one of these parks will take you more than one visit to see it all.   And that's not all.

Disney World also has two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon  water fun for all the family, There is also Downtown Disney for your Disney shops and dining it is also the place for entertainment with Cirque du Soleil, Disney Quest (Indoor Interactive Theme Park), and party the night away at Pleasure Island.

 

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Universal, like Disney is bigger than it seems.  They have two Theme parks, 

Universal Studios, which is a TV and movie themed park

and Universal Island of Adventure, which is full of cutting edge rides

Wet and Wild, is their water park

Universal City Walk, has shops and Restaurants, a cinema, and the best in live music. 

 

 

SEA WORLD

Sea World is not just fish, everything that lives in or near the sea, as well as loads of rides.

Discovery Cove, your chance to swim with the dolphins, and the rays.

Aquatica   is Sea World's new water park.

Busch Gardens is about an hours drive away in Tampa and is an animal themed park.

Our Villa is in Polk County.

Polk County is blessed with 550 lakes and 80 provide public access

Built on the highest point in peninsular Florida , Bok Towers is one of Florida 's most famous landmarks. Although its place in the Central Florida landscape is well known, its unique structure and beautiful gardens are less familiar.

To the southwest, Polk County offers natural adventures ranging from a frontier cow camp to the Green Swamp . Kissimmee Cow Camp in Lake Kissimmee State Park and Polk County 's Green Swamp which offers an ecosystem with few intrusions from the industrialized world, leaving the habitat truly natural and undisturbed

Webb's Citrus Candy & Fudge Factory a short distance from the villa has been putting smiles on young faces since 1920,

ALSO CLOSE BY

Cypress Gardens is the oldest theme park in Florida, famous for it's water skiing shows.

Fantasy of Flight, old planes and flights in planes or hot air balloons.

Kissimmee Old Town, rides, shops, eateries and a classic car show every week.

Celebration, is a community created by Disney in the style of 1930s America.

Citrus Tower at Clermont originally looked out over all the orange groves, which have now given way to villas.

BALLOON FLIGHTS

There are a few companies that give balloon fights in the Orlando area.

Orange Blossom Balloons, is the nearest to the villa

Thompson Aire,     Florida balloon Adventures,     Fantasy Ballooning,       Orlando Balloon Adventures,    Aerostat Advetures,     Balloonatic,   are other companies to try, and there are more.
